QuéPV Community Conduct

QuéPV Community Conduct Policy

QuéPV is built for respectful connection, local discussion, and community support. Every member is expected to treat others with dignity, safety, and basic respect. Participation in QuéPV is a privilege, not a right, and members who violate this policy may be removed immediately.

1. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

QuéPV does not tolerate any form of harassment. This includes behavior directed at a person or group that is threatening, intimidating, abusive, degrading, hostile, or intended to make someone feel unsafe or unwelcome.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal attacks, insults, bullying, or repeated unwanted contact
  • Threats of violence, intimidation, or coercion
  • Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual comments, or sexually aggressive messages
  • Targeted mocking, humiliation, or abusive language
  • Encouraging others to harass, report, threaten, or intimidate someone
  • Continuing to contact someone after they have asked you to stop

Private messages, public comments, group posts, usernames, profile content, images, and any other activity on QuéPV are covered by this policy.

2. No Hate Speech or Dehumanizing Language

QuéPV does not allow hate speech, slurs, dehumanizing language, or content that attacks, mocks, excludes, or promotes hostility toward people based on who they are.

This includes content targeting a person or group based on:

  • Race, ethnicity, nationality, or skin color
  • Religion or belief
  • Sex, gender, gender identity, or gender expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability, medical condition, or mental health status
  • Age
  • Immigration status
  • Language, accent, or place of origin
  • Economic status or housing status
  • Any other protected or vulnerable identity

Members may discuss difficult topics, local issues, crime, politics, tourism, housing, culture, and community concerns, but those discussions must not turn into hate, stereotyping, scapegoating, or attacks against groups of people.

3. No Racism or Discrimination

Racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, religious bigotry, and other forms of discrimination are not allowed on QuéPV.

This includes:

  • Racial or ethnic slurs
  • Claims that one group is superior or inferior to another
  • Mocking people’s language, accent, culture, appearance, or identity
  • Blaming entire groups for crime, economic problems, social issues, or local changes
  • Excluding people from participation based on identity
  • Posting jokes, memes, images, or coded language that promotes discrimination

QuéPV welcomes locals, visitors, expats, long-term residents, and newcomers. Disagreement is allowed. Discrimination is not.

4. No Doxing or Sharing Private Information

Members may not share, threaten to share, request, or encourage others to reveal someone’s private personal information without permission.

This includes:

  • Home addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Workplace details
  • Private social media accounts
  • Identification documents
  • License plates
  • Financial information
  • Personal photos shared without consent
  • Screenshots of private conversations without permission
  • Any information that could be used to identify, locate, contact, or harm someone

This rule applies even if the information is available elsewhere online. QuéPV may remove content and ban accounts that expose or attempt to expose private information.

5. No Threats, Violence, or Encouragement of Harm

QuéPV does not allow threats, calls for violence, intimidation, or content that encourages harm against any person or group.

This includes:

  • Threatening physical harm
  • Encouraging self-harm or violence
  • Celebrating harm done to another person
  • Suggesting that someone should be attacked, removed, followed, exposed, or punished outside proper legal channels
  • Organizing harassment or retaliation

Serious threats may be reported to the appropriate authorities when necessary.

6. No Misconduct in Private Messages

The same conduct standards apply to private messages. Members may not use direct messaging to harass, threaten, pressure, sexually harass, discriminate against, or intimidate other members.

Unwanted messages, abusive messages, sexual messages, threats, and repeated contact after being asked to stop may result in immediate removal from the community.

7. Good-Faith Participation Required

Members are expected to participate honestly and respectfully. QuéPV may remove members who use the community to provoke conflict, target others, spread hostility, or create an unsafe environment.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Trolling
  • Baiting others into arguments
  • Posting inflammatory comments meant to provoke
  • Creating fake accounts to avoid enforcement
  • Coordinated attacks against members
  • Reposting removed content
  • Encouraging others to violate community rules

8. Immediate Removal for Misconduct

QuéPV reserves the right to remove any post, comment, message, profile, image, group content, or account that violates this policy or the spirit of the community.

Users who engage in harassment, hate speech, doxing, racism, discrimination, threats, or any other serious misconduct may be banned and removed from the community immediately, without warning.

Depending on the situation, enforcement may include:

  • Content removal
  • Message restrictions
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Removal from groups or community boards
  • Blocking duplicate or related accounts

QuéPV is not required to issue repeated warnings before removing a member whose conduct poses a risk to others or damages the community.

9. Moderator Discretion

The QuéPV team has final discretion when deciding whether conduct violates this policy. Attempts to avoid enforcement through coded language, sarcasm, “jokes,” indirect attacks, fake accounts, or private-message behavior may still result in removal.

A comment does not need to use explicit slurs or direct threats to violate this policy. Context, pattern of behavior, intent, and impact all matter.

10. Reporting Misconduct

Members are encouraged to report harassment, hate speech, doxing, racism, discrimination, threats, or any other unsafe behavior. Reports help protect the community and allow the QuéPV team to respond quickly.

False reports made in bad faith, or reports used to harass another member, may also result in enforcement action.

11. Community Standard

QuéPV is a shared community space. Members do not have to agree with one another, but they must treat one another with basic respect. Anyone who uses the platform to harass, threaten, expose, demean, or discriminate against others will not be allowed to remain in the community.
