The Art & Market Marina Vallarta has wrapped up its 2025–2026 season after several months of weekly activity along the Marina Vallarta boardwalk.
Organized by the Asociación de Residentes de Marina Vallarta, the market brought together nearly 200 exhibitors this season. Vendors offered local products, handmade crafts, home décor, textiles, beachwear, regional drinks, organic items, and prepared food.
The market has become one of Marina Vallarta’s main seasonal events. It gives residents, visitors, and winter-season tourists a Thursday night option outside the city’s downtown core.
This season’s run followed the market’s usual fall-to-spring schedule. Public event listings placed the season from late October 2025 through mid-May 2026. Organizers later said the season ended as May visitor traffic began to slow.
A weekly event tied to local spending
For many exhibitors, the market is not only a showcase. It is also a regular sales window during Puerto Vallarta’s strongest visitor months.
The event turns the marina boardwalk into a weekly evening market, with stands set along the waterfront. Its format gives shoppers a chance to buy directly from local vendors while also bringing foot traffic to nearby restaurants, cafés, and other businesses.
The market helps extend activity into the evening and gives the area a recurring event that residents can plan around.
Organizers have described the market as an anchor event for Marina Vallarta. They say it supports the zone’s image as an orderly, clean, and active tourist area.
What visitors found this season
The market offered a mix of products aimed at both locals and visitors. Shoppers could find traditional crafts, clothing, accessories, decorative items, and food products.
The food side also played a role. The market included Mexican and international options, as well as organic products and regional beverages.
The season also included entertainment. During the closing period, organizers reported the presence of a children’s folkloric ballet and live rock music.
The event’s appeal is partly its setting. Marina Vallarta offers visitors a more relaxed waterfront walk than the downtown Malecón, with nearby restaurants and the marina.
Plans already being discussed
Organizers said they are already considering additions for the 2026–2027 Art & Market season.
No full program has been announced yet. However, the comments suggest the market will likely continue as a fall-to-spring fixture in Marina Vallarta.
The event has grown into a regular part of Puerto Vallarta’s high-season calendar, especially for people looking for local shopping, food, and an easy evening outing.
